ECS KUSH SDN BHD was incorporated in 1993 as an investment holding company with a paid-up capital of RM1,000,000.  The company purchased two blocks of five-storey office building in Kelana Jaya and moved into the new building in November 1994.

It has three subsidiary companies, i.e. ECS KU SDN BHD, ECS PERICOMP SDN BHD, and ECS ASTAR SDN BHD in the computer business.  The group achieved a total sales turnover of RM977million in 2007.

ECS KU SDN BHD was established in 1985 to provide computer systems, hardware, software and services to business customers.  ECS PERICOMP SDN BHD started operations in 1986 to distribute PCs and peripherals to computer dealers throughout Malaysia.  ECS ASTAR SDN BHD was started in 1995 to market mainly Hewlett-Packard PC products to dealers.  The main product lines in the group are: Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Apple,  Adobe, Samsung, Cisco, SUN Microsystems, Microsoft, Printronix, Canon, Epson, Juniper and Buffalo.

In August 2000, a 20,000 sq.ft. warehouse cum service centre at Hicom Glenmarie in Shah Alam was opened to provide better deliveries and warranty/repair services to customers.

The group has a total of 280 employees as at January 2008.  The holding company provides the administrative, accounting, warehousing and delivery services to the subsidiary companies.
